As part of our collaboration with HMRC, RAD is hosting a series of FREE online workshops designed to support the Deaf community with digital tools and tax-related services.
This month’s topic is: National Insurance (NI).
National Insurance (NI) is a crucial part of the UK tax system, affecting your entitlement to benefits, the State Pension, and more. This workshop will help you:
- Understand what National Insurance is and why it’s important
- Learn about NI contributions and how they affect your State Pension
- Find out how to check your NI record and fill in any gaps
- Get guidance on NI for self-employed individuals and freelancers
- Ask questions and receive support in British Sign Language (BSL)
📅 Date: 11 August 2025
💻 Location: Online (Zoom)
This workshop is open to Deaf professionals, Deaf organisations, and members of the Deaf community. We will also provide information on how organisations can refer clients to our services, ensuring that everyone can access the support available through our partnership.
