As part of our collaboration with HMRC, RAD is hosting a series of FREE online workshops designed to support the Deaf community with digital tools and tax-related services.
This month’s topic is: Tax Codes.
Your tax code determines how much tax is deducted from your wages or pension. Understanding it can help you avoid overpaying or underpaying tax. This workshop will help you:
- Understand what a tax code is and how it affects your take-home pay
- Learn how to check your tax code and spot errors
- Find out what different tax code numbers and letters mean
- Get guidance on what to do if your tax code is wrong
- Ask questions and receive support in British Sign Language (BSL)
📅 Date: 22 September 2025
💻 Location: Online (Zoom)
This workshop is open to Deaf professionals, Deaf organisations, and members of the Deaf community. We will also provide information on how organisations can refer clients to our services, ensuring that everyone can access the support available through our partnership.
📩 RSVP by emailing taxhelp@royaldeaf.org.uk to receive your Zoom link.
