Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD) is delighted to announce that as part of its re-assessment for the Investors in People (IIP) Award the organisation has been awarded a Silver accreditation.
Our assessment this year took place under a new, much more challenging IiP Standard and we are proud to be in the top 24% of employers in the UK with the Silver Award.
Within his report Richard Budd, our IiP Assessor said –
RAD are an aspirational charity with a great deal of passion to develop a sustainable organisation for the future, whilst retaining their core values. The leadership team prides itself on quality of service and really looking after its people, who in turn take tremendous pride in their work. What is extremely clear to see is the strength of the values throughout the Charity and a desire to create a sustainable charity for the future
Against this background, it is with great delight that this report can confirm that RAD has achieved the Silver Accreditation against the Investors in People (IIP) Framework. This is a great achievement for an organisation going through the new IIP Standard for the first time, as the new Framework has been designed in a manner which is far more rigorous, up to date and challenging compared to the previous Framework RAD were assessed against.
RAD’s Interim Co-CEOs, Amanda Casson-Webb, Lesley Frearson and Sue Mountford said – “We are proud to hold the Standard for a further three years and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers, staff and trustees at Team-RAD for making our organisation one that we are proud of.”
