Children and Families
We recognise that growing up in a hearing world can be challenging for Deaf children. Our programme of events and services have been developed with your child in mind; improving communication, building friendships, increasing access and supporting the development of skills.
These are fun and engaging, supporting the development of friendships and building confidence. Take a look at our forthcoming events.
We organise activities specifically designed for Deaf children and their families. We also make sure we provide communication support at all our events and mainstream activities. Take a look at our forthcoming activities.

One-to-One support / Advice / Advocacy
Our experienced staff, who are either Deaf themselves or fluent in British Sign Language (BSL), are available to support you and your child to make informed choices.
Is your child struggling to make friends or access their local community? Our befriending service can help. We can support your child to access their local community; reducing isolation, building confidence and encouraging choice.
Does your child need a mentor? This programme provides safe support, encouragement and inspiration. It promotes choice and encourages Deaf children to confidently develop their identity.
Is your child disengaged with school? Integr8 can support your child to become more engaged in school life, improving participation and helping them to achieve their learning goals.
